The hotel is in a great location, away from the heavy bustle of New York but on the same street as a subway line that connects you very quickly to the rest of the city. The room was lovely and spacious with a great heating cooling system to keep the room comfortable. The private bathroom was also lovely and with plenty of room. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.

I have been traveling to the U.S. for over 20 years and have stayed at many hotels in Manhattan. I can now say that I have found my hotel. The rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manhattan Downtown are large by Manhattan standards. But honestly, who comes to Manhattan to spend time in the hotel? The entire hotel is extremely clean. The rooms are spotless and the bathroom had zero percent mold. It is simply a great hotel that I will recommend to anyone traveling to New York. The staff is consistently friendly and everyone is helpful. It is just a great place to stay.

The hotel is in a perfect location. Comfortable, quiet, clean. There is a mini fridge in the room. There is a mini market inside the lobby. Everything went smoothly. The staff is very nice and helpful. There was also the option to store luggage on the day of check-out. There are a few restaurants/pubs, cafes and shops nearby. I will definitely stay here again.

Location is prime nearby station/trains ferry etc. We have been in this hotel before but 11/12 yr ago so we knew what’s up Staff helpful and always ready to serve. Greatful for providing a cot for the baby as well we needed it. Clean,bed sheets and all changed everyday to the highest standard.

The room was nice and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Close to the subway station and an easy walk to Battery Park. We had the world's tiniest fridge, but I didn't even know there was a fridge at all, so it was still a plus.

Location is just perfect, you can get anywhere really fast with all subway lines leading to fidi. Location feels safe too, busy Monday to Friday during work hours but relaxed in the evening and weekends. You can ignore the other reviews about a 30 minute minute wait for the elevator, the max you will realistically wait is maybe 3-4 minutes, and this is rare, 80% of the time it arrives within 1-2 minutes. Free cookies (when you ask for them) are a nice touch, and good options from the little shop. Great to leave your luggage either before or after your saty too.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOTEL for staff, location and comfort. The staff are the best thing about the hotel, so warm, friendly, helpful, funny and just lovely, special thank you to Daives and Jeanette (sorry ladies if I spelt your name wrong!!). Also, the location is EXCELLENT. you're a 10 minute walk from the WTC memorial, 2 mins walk from Wall Street, 5 mins walk from the Liberty island ferry, 25 minutes walk from the Brooklyn Bridge. There are many places to have food all around the hotel. This hotel is perfectly placed to explore downtown. Also the beds are VERY comfortable. We loved our stay here so much, we were in room 4203 and the view was amazing.

The staff were wonderful and helpful. Super friendly and willing to help with a special birthday! The location was great for us, as we had an early tour of the statue and it was soo close. It was also a short walk to see the World Trade Center and battery park. It was also super close to all subways to get up to central manhattan to see all the other places like Central Park, China town etc. nothing felt too far. We were able to cross over to Brooklyn very easily too. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The only problem we encountered was the air conditioning unit in our room wasn’t working properly. But we didn’t say anything at the time. I’m sure if we had said, they would have moved us with no problems. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again

Location and the room is like a studio with coffee and tea great for cold Weather. I paid booking price at the arrival BUT it is mandatory to give a visa card with an extra charge of 50 usd a day . It is supposed to be reversed 7 days after you leave . My first visa failed and no cash allowed to this extra payment. Ask with your bank in Argentina before leaving
